Max Patté: Unfolding, Club Diamondz, Double Bay 2026 - Dune View turns the series toward dusk. Terracotta, plum, lilac and cream planes interlock across the linen, with a band of gold catching the last light. It is the richest and most graphic of the paintings in this show and the strongest counterpoint to the pastel canvases. In a pale interior it reads as a bold, sculptural block; in a darker room it becomes rich and quiet. Painted in 2026 alongside Dune Flora, with which it shares a title and a format, the two could hang as a pair.
