Max Patté: Unfolding, Club Diamondz, Double Bay 2026 - The Colours of Home paintings dissolve the hues of flora, soil and dune and recompose them into tessellated planes. Dune Flora takes the olive, lime, pink and bleached cream of coastal scrub and breaks them into hundreds of triangular facets. Up close it reads as pure geometry. Step back and it resolves into the feeling of low vegetation catching wind and light. It is the most organic painting in the group and sits well with timber, stone and natural textiles.
