Max Patté: Unfolding, Club Diamondz, Double Bay 2026 - Cluster #005 stacks glossy spheres of painted resin two metres high, the largest Cluster in the exhibition. The palette is soft: powder blue, blush, lilac, sage and ochre, each sphere a different size and pressed against its neighbours like buds or bubbles gathering on a stem. The lacquered finish catches the room in small curved highlights, so the colours shift as you move around it. The Cluster series gathers and opens like fresh growth, and at this scale it becomes architecture. Placed in a double-height space, stairwell or garden room, it holds the space through colour rather than weight. A stainless steel version for gardens and outdoor spaces is available on request.
