Tall Poppy is more than a showcase of incredible design - it’s a statement about where Australian design stands today and where it’s heading. The exhibition marks the first time Melbourne Design Week has programmed an exhibition on the Mornington Peninsula, establishing a historic precedent for regional design excellence.
This all-encompassing celebration spotlights Australian and Melbourne designers who are breaking beyond the glass ceiling while remaining connected to centuries-old traditions. More importantly, it makes visible Australia’s new era of design: one defined by accessibility, collaboration and feasibility.
