Following her feature in Fables and Folklore at Melbourne's esteemed Craft Victoria and her landmark show, Tethered Threads, in the foyer of the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (MPRG) last year, Emma Davies is returning to Kelli Lundberg Art for her latest solo exhibition.
Davies transforms industrial materials into ethereal sculptures inspired by the natural beauty of the Mornington Peninsula. Through experimentation, her pieces have developed into labour-intensive textiles made from baler twine pressed into netting. These delicate forms are organic and fluid, reflecting the essence of water.
