An exhibition to celebrate the culmination of creativity by our inaugural artist-in-residence Maria Radun: Grounded explores themes of impermanence and belonging through still-life paintings rendered in both a figurative and artistically competent beauty. Featuring carefully selected remnants from her native environment,Maria’s delicate compositions capture the fleeting nature of life. Artfully engaging shadow play and the expert variety of paint applications bring a balance of the dark side to the otherwise classically beautiful subjects. Maria's art invites viewers to contemplate the enduring allure of natural forms amidst their capacity to anchor life's constant flux.
