Threaded Memory reflects an inherited language of fashion, shaped by a childhood immersed in design studios and the quiet rituals of making. Raised by parents who were fashion designers, I was deeply influenced by the presence of garments—both as objects and ideas—in my understanding of form and identity. The work exists as a delicate outline in black thread, hovering between presence and absence, suggesting a form that cannot be worn yet remains recognisable. It speaks to the way memory preserves impressions rather than details. Through my soft sculptures, these influences resurface intuitively, translating personal history into fragile, suspended forms that explore the boundary between body, garment, and remembrance.
