Bolaji Teniola

Moved by a fascination with materiality, Bolaji Teniola finds joy in allowing the process to unearth pragmatic solutions. Blending knowledge gained within the disciplines of Furniture Design and Industrial Design to develop contemporary lighting, furniture, and sculptural forms that sit at the intersection of art, craft, and design, Teniola channels these outcomes into commissions and exhibitions.

Born in Nigeria, Bolaji Teniola grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where he completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design with honours and an Associate Degree in Furniture Design from RMIT University, gaining key experience working in design studios locally and abroad. Teniola's interdisciplinary practice is based between Tarntanya (Adelaide) and Naarm (Melbourne), Australia, and encompasses design and curations.

Teniola's works have appeared in various publications, exhibited nationally and internationally, are part of private collections, and have received several awards over the years.
